Vintage Inspiration Monday...

I know, I know. I've been on a HUGE Jane Austen kick. I just can't help it! Last night I ended up watching all of "Emma" on Youtube. I just couldn't wait until next week. Yes, I've read the book and seen numerous screen adaptations, but I still just loved it! And Mr. Knightley? SWOON! Oh he'll never, ever take Mr. Darcy's place, but wow! This version was great! Here's the link if you can't wait either....http://www.youtube.com/user/cat4fab#p/u/23/wIDDka3X-LI . Let me know what you think. Is this your favorite Emma? While you're watching, check out the wonderful costumes. Aren't they beautiful? During the first part of the film, when they were showing the main characters as children, I thought of this image. Sure it's about 50 years later, but the children's fashion hadn't really changed that much. Feel free to click and save this one, just promise you'll keep it for personal use:). Have a great day!

  1. Mr. Knightly is dreamy and I love the actress playing Emma. What a free spirit and a truly sweet soul. I just love this adaptation. Sunday night is my favorite night of the week. Thanks for the darling download.

  3. I did watch this version of "Emma," and liked it very much. But I must admit I like Gwenneth Paltrow's version a little better. Perhaps it's because I'm a big fan of hers and she did have great chemistry with her Mr. Knightley!
Thanks for the lovely art of darling children!
